In Tom Wright’s chilling adaptation of Joan Lindsay’s classic novel, 5 performers struggle to solve the mystery of the missing girls and their teacher. Euphoria and terror reverberate throughout the community, as the potential for history to repeat itself becomes nightmarishly real.Directed by Dexter Bourke, this wonderfully iconic piece of Australian drama will be performed at the 1812 Theatre in August 2023.
There will be an open reading at the theatre on Monday 12/9/2022 at 7pm with auditions for the 5 female roles being held at the theatre on Monday 10/10/2022 and Tuesday 11/10/2022 from 6:30pm by appointment.
Rehearsals will be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm to 10pm and on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm starting early June 2023. Performances will essentially run on Wednesday to Saturday evenings with 3 Sunday matinee performances. The exact dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
