Funding applications are assessed on their potential to make ground-breaking progress in cancer treatment, diagnosis, prevention and/or cure, by an esteemed scientific committee of Australian cancer researchers, including Professor Ian Frazer (co-creator of the cervical cancer vaccine and 2006 Australian of the Year).

ACRF’s mission is to back brilliant research by giving scientists the technology and equipment they need to find new and improved ways to prevent, detect and treat ALL types of cancer.

The 1812 theatre is proud to be supporting the ACRF in its fund raising activities.

As part of this initiative theatre patrons will now have the option to donate to the ACRF when attending an event at the theatre or when booking a theatre ticket online.

We look forward to making a positive contribution to this very worthy organisation and appreciate the support of the theatre community in this endeavour.
