Update regarding The 1812 Theatre response to COVID-19.
It is encouraging to see Victoria taking steps to emerge from the Covid-19 lockdown, and we are all hoping life can return to something approaching normal in the near future. However, the current restrictions and uncertain timing around future easing, means it is not yet clear when theatre performances will be able to recommence in a safe and economically viable form.
Unfortunately, as a result, we are unable to commence the necessary preparation activities (rehearsals, set construction, etc.) associated with our upcoming Season 4 play “A Flea in Her Ear” or season 5 “Let The Right One In” so will be unable to proceed with these shows as originally scheduled.
These postponements are in addition to the postponement of our Season 2 Play “War of The Worlds” and Season 3 “And Then There Were None” as previously advised.
We will, however, continue to monitor the situation with the intention to rescheduling all these shows at a later time once the situation improves.
We will advise current ticket holders of rescheduled dates for these shows at a future time once confirmed. However, if you would prefer a refund, please contact the office 9758-3964 or email@example.com.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused, although we would like to assure our patrons that the health and safety of all who enter our theatre is always our highest priority – and we thank you for your understanding.
